I'm so excited to start something new to the blog - FRIDAY FAVORITES!! Here I will feature a few of my favorite things right now - both affordable and designer, whether its clothes, accessories, makeup, or even home decor. I hope you all enjoy!
For our first ever Friday Favorites, I'm going to include something I've been a little obsessed with lately - cool coats and jackets. With it being so freezing in Alabama right now, its necessary to have a good coat, so why not a cute one too? I love all the different kinds of coats/jackets and the way you can wear them with different outfits, so I'm going to include some of my favorite pieces as well as some of my favorite looks I've seen.
One look I LOVE LOVE LOVE is the camel, long trench coat. I love the way trench coats have been used to dress up outfits, yet they are starting to be used to tie together casual outfits as well.
Another style of jacket I have been loving is big, puffy bombers, especially the ones that come in cool fabrics. These jackets give such an edgy, cool-girl vibe to any outfit and I love the way they look!
Another look I have been loving for a while is dramatic fur coats. I love how chic and girly a dramatic, big, and colorful fur coat looks with an outfit. It can sometimes be hard to find affordable fur coats, so I linked some of my fave dramatic and fun fur coats that I found.
Lastly, a more chic and edgy look I have been loving is blazers. It is so interesting to see how trends from the past come back around, and the blazer is definitely one of them. Lately they have been worn for more than just work suits, and I love the way they have been modernized to be used in all kinds of different outfits, similar to how they were worn in the 80's and 90's (especially plaid blazers).
